Previously, we were approached by one of the UK’s largest food packaging manufacturers to produce a repeat of the “bulk bag” FIBC stations already installed at their site. It was crucial to maintain consistency with the existing system to facilitate operator and maintenance training.

Upon understanding the customer’s requirements, we suggested a ‘split frame’ design to simplify on-site assembly with an integrated flexible screw conveyor. The FIBC discharger mainframe was fabricated in two sections, upper and lower, allowing installation to be completed using the existing lifting equipment, and as an alternative to UHMWPE conveyor tubing, we supplied them with stainless steel tubing to provide a robust, long-lasting solution. This innovative approach not only streamlined the assembly process but also ensured seamless integration with the current system.
